English Game group looking for people...

hi,

my gaming group in moscow is low on players and we would like to invite you to come out and play some Pathfinder or D&D or some other system that we feel like playing. We play in English.

Examples of systems: AD&D 1st and 2nd, Pathfinder, Cthulu, Savage Worlds
So we love hack and slash, space pirates, and crazy mutant monsters we do it all!!!!

We switch GMs every so often to keep it fresh. If you are interested please contact me and then we can exchange information. We have a lot of fun and its about adventuring, playing characters and having an all around good time.

Why don't you using 4th edition? Out of curiosity.

Well to be honest... no one in our group owns  a copy of fourth edition. i am a fan of 2nd edition and one of the guys is a huge fan of 1st, one other guy loves Pathfinder. We would be willing to give it a try, though.

No-no, "out of curiosity" was what it meant. I'm from Komsomolsk-on-Amur (7 hour difference from Moscow).

I thought you meant out of curiosity because some people are hard core PF people or 4th ed people not because you are 7 time zones away...

Do you consider playing d&d 5e? Basic DM and player rules are available online for free, it's pretty close to "old school" editions in essence, combats are challenging and sometimes quite deadly and it lacks numerous tables and more or less complicated math issues.

I haven't gotten my hands on the material yet. I am intrigued about the new edition of D&D, but what irks me about WOTC is that they come out with new editions too often. Would you like to come to our game on Saturday. It is  a lot of fun and stuff.

Sounds interesting. I'm a great fan of 2nd edition myself, but after D&D Next came out I was totaly converted. I've got available core books (PHB+MM) and be happy to join you (or even act as a DM in case you need an intro to the 5th edition).

The more the merrier. I am sorry I haven't been on the board for a couple days. I have been studying for a major exam for Tomorrow. We play in the Mayakovskaya Area at a location called 01Kafe. Maybe a few words about yourselves? Age, sex, occupation, number of people, etc. That would make it easier to search for people that match.

Hmm, that seems like a luxury problem, which is not the case 

I would say we want to play with adults. Other than that I am open to see if you fit, come to a session... check it out... if you like it and we like you, awesome.

Our group consists of adults in their 20s-40s, if you are interested in playing send me a PM. We switch systems between new and old school... We have played campaigns in AD&D 1st and 2nd edition, Pathfinder, Savage Worlds, Gamma World(which we love) Boothill, Cthulhu and a couple others I don't remember.
